Although it can be a little confusing to start with, the action and style of drawing soon makes up for that, and once you get into it, you'll want to read on into the story and see what happens next to the characters.

In this first chapter of the story, Chaos and Iris are just beginning (without them knowing) a long, difficult journey to basically save the world, to prevent Ragnarok so to speak.

If you're a fan of the game, buy it. If you're a fan of manga in general, buy it. If both, definately buy it. Awsome read, exciting action, interesting characters, good art style.

If you like the Final Fantasy Series or any other RPG, you will like this manga and all of its volumes. The art is great and detailed and the character designs are amazing. Magic and Swords feature aplenty. get this!
