Alchemy unveiled
|
|
This is an excellent, if rather brief, survey of alchemy. More than the usual potted history of a grand folly, the author is clearly an initiate, if not an adept, of an ancient art which he shows to be alive and kicking. Included is an excellent introduction to laboratory alchemy, providing full instructions for preparing herbal elixirs. Illustrated throughout with some of the very finest alchemical iconography in full colour, this is a richly bejewelled piece of work. Highly recommended to anyone interested in the Western esoteric tradition.
