A Must Have For Investors.
|
As an investor, financial journalist or someone with a passing interest in particular companies or financial sectors why would you visit countless websites, trawl through numerous books, tune in to radio programmes, buy magazines or watch those ghastly financial news channels on Sky when you can find all you need in just one place?
In all likelihood everything you need to know about the UK Stock Market can be found in this little gem of a book. All the Listed companies as well as Listed Investment Trusts and Members of AIM are here along with their EPIC code; what financial sector they are in; their Normal Market Share(NMS); Annual General Meeting (AGM) date; financial year end and so on - all here, and all very useful information to have at your fingertips.
Do you want to check out what financial sectors perform historically well in particular months of the year in order to assist you judge future performance, or, similarly, how the FTSE historically performs in particular months? This book has it all logically laid out within its pages nestled between its hard cover exterior.
Would you like the names and addresses of useful financial organisations, Exchanges, associations and Regulatory bodies? It's all here.
I'd be here all day if I were to include all the information that is included in this book and, frankly, I would do the book an injustice by attempting to do so because I would miss something of value and interest to someone. Needless to say it is jammed with vital statistics, historical information, explanations of terminology used to blind those of us who are inexperienced in this field; and the year's up-and-coming events with dates provided - all of which will help you plan the year ahead.
The book is brilliantly presented and the information very easy to access - particularly useful to those new to investing and shares but vital also to the most experienced of investor I would suggest. So, all in all I can't find fault here, a great book and a tremendous buy - keep it safe and to hand and let it work for you.
