Great general revision tool

I'm a final year medical student and used this to revise for my MCQ exam. I found it really helpful, well laid out and the answers well explained. The way that the correct answers are rationalised gives this book an advantage over others. Obviously I don't know how applicable it is to the GP examinations, but I would certainly recommend it to any student who needs some well written and explained MCQs for practice/revision.

Excellent preparation for the AKT

Having sat the AKT, I'd highly recommend this book. It is the only one I have found that is closely in keeping with the new exam format. Questions were relevant and aimed at the right level. Layout is clear, answers cover the important points for each topic. Definitely worth getting.

Its a book which helped me develop a system to answer the questions, rather than blatantly giving the answers like other books. As the exam is about working out the answer from the available data, this one trained me exactly that way.

nMRCGP Candiate - Dr Steve Karagiannis

This book was a great study aid, very relevant to the AKT and the questions along with explanations to answers were specific and straight to the point. I used afew of the other nMRCGP books out there on the market, but Rob Daniels book by far was the most useful.

post AKT

ok so done the AKT - not sure if I passed - did this book help? probably yet only a little - some of the questions useful, annoyingly some wrong answers, not really a lot of explanations in the answers compared to other pastest books. the questions were slightly more difficult in the exam and lots of the topics in the book not in the exam, Def not the only book for revision will need more sources. Disappointing from Pastest could and should have been way better.
