At last a decent Dave Grohl book
|
A great book for any foo fighters/ dave grohl fan. Gone is the lengthy Nirvana analysis and in its place is an in-depth look behind the music of the foo fighters. It's a real inside look at one of the best bands of the last ten years and the other band members are given plenty of mentions.
A really great book, easy to read and fantastic for new/old fans- simply brilliant!

Decent Book

The book is quite well written, it is informative and has few grammatical errors and typos. It provides a close glimse into the otherwise unaccessible life of one of rock's most interesting mainstays and the circumspect attention to detail reflects the author's ability in being able to distinguish and use accurate chronicles of Dave's life (from those who know him best) from the myriad of stories tainted by inaccuracies to compile this book together. A very good book for those who are intrigued by Dave and would like to know more about him and his bands (past and present) beyond the commercially spiced portrayals offered by popular television and radio.
