Life changing book
|
This is a book promoting self-development to boost income and career prospects. The book was ideal for me, it helped me to realise that I needed to broaden my horizons and build upon my recent A-levels. Ultimately with the help of the book I left my job at Tesco and began a university course in French and ever since beginning it my attitude towards future prospects has improved. The book is a great confidence booster and will help readers to gain the confidence they need to take new steps.
A great book, helpful to anyone even considering going into education or even a self-study course.

A timely life-changing new book
|
A timely life-changing new book from Lawpack Publishing Ltd (http://www.lawpack.co.uk ), `Learn More Earn More', will be available from February 18, 2008. It cuts through the maze of uncoordinated vocational and academic training opportunities and support grants, and offers clear steps for anyone - whether or not they are in employment at the moment - to develop new skills to improve their earning potential and quality of life.
The profile of learning and skill development has been raised significantly recently. Vocational qualifications are now being offered by large employers such as McDonalds, and high profile initiatives like Train to Gain and Edge have been launched. Author of `Learn More Earn More', Steve Wiseman, argues that these initiatives are just one route amongst many others already available to those in the know.
Learn More Earn More explains exactly what is on offer, how you can access it and what financial support there may be available. It will empower people, and open up the learning and training opportunities that exist - but are not widely promoted by many employers.
Steve Wiseman, author, comments: "This is a book for people who feel they are at a crossroads in life. It is for those who would like to make a change or simply move on, those who feel they are stuck in a rut, or who are concerned about future job loss due to a forecast downturn in the economy."
He continues: "The great problem people face is that they are not sure which direction to take. They are confused and ignorant of possibilities or feel they wouldn't have the ability, time or money to study. Often they are scared to try something new because they think this will be a leap into the dark. I wrote this book to guide people through the maze, to help them take stock and consider realistic options for learning new skills."
