a great laugh

You're probably not going to learn too much from this book -except that rugby is a game played by men with a great sense of humour. That doesn't mean it isn't a great read though.
Best read by someone who has at least watched or played some rugby.
Lots of one-liners and weird takes. Thoroughly recommended - read it on a crowded train - it'll really annoy the other passengers!

fun filled read

When I read the other review for this book I was interested with it because I am a huge rugby fan as is my father and I thought this would be the ideal book for him for Christmas. I bought this and the first thing he told me when he read in on Christmas Day was that it was a great present.

The book has alot of humour. Some of the descriptions, of teams and positions etc are very good. I would recommend this book to anyone with a love of the game, or someone who was interested in rugby but didnt know where to start!!!

good for a non rugby playing friend

i got this book for a friend from the states who didnt know anything about the game and it helped her pass amongst friends who play the game and gave her a isea about the fine game
