This book stood out from the crowd when it was first published in 1989 since most koi books at that time were expensive, dull translations of Japanese texts. It is 200 plus colour glossy pages covering pond construction, fish care and pond maintenance. The latter half of the book contains a comprehensive guide to varieties with many beautiful example pictures.
