This has been my favourite book since I first found it in the local library as a teenager. It would mostly appeal to people who know the area, or grew up locally as I did. The images show people enjoying amusements that are well past their prime, all beautifully captured by Martin Parr's photography.

Martin Parr is great but don't buy this version of the book

Hardly worth the Money. I returned mine to Amazon as the picture quality was rubbish. Not to mention the awkward size of the book
