A very useful book!     
A great book, that really makes manoevering a boat a simple task, even for inexperienced helmsmen like myself!

As mentioned, it is only applicable for yachts, but it is totally practical and well thought through.

Don't be fooled!     
Don't make the mistake I did. I was looking for a book on motor boat handling, and bought this book (from RYA online bookshop) on the title alone. The book talks only about sailing boats - under sail and motorsailing. There is nothing about power boats in here. The description above makes this clear - I wish I had seen it first. Can't comment on the book - no experience of sail.
