A basic guide

Unfortunately this guide does not deliver and killer information but it pulls together the basics well. It could be far more succinct in its delivery.

Well worth the investment. You dont just read this book you constantly refer to it untill you are the master of your destiny.

Well presented and educational only if you want to learn your trade inside and out.

He really is

Mr Connolly really is an expert in his field. This book is a necessary part of a trader's armoury and despite the frustrating index, this book is full of hidden gems. The part about Lord Hanson "disappearing as silently as he came", made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck as i read it. However, it his indepth understanding of the UK Equity market and how it actually works that makes Mr Connolly's book so good.

tip top read

A trader that can read and write!

I found this book really useful, and very practical for anyone wishing to trade 'P.A.' . Good summary on how to short term traders hope to make money on newsflow...and why it doesn't always work. The bit on Lloyd's share price going from Â£8 to Â£2.90 also brought back some painful memories.

Best thing since sliced bread

This book is simply essential. It reads well (other than annoying minor grammatical errors) and relates well to both novices and experts such as myself. I look forward to Mr Connolly's forthcoming guides on other UK markets such as soft commodities, precious metals and oil & gas.
