Unusual, charming & mysterious!

If anyone is into any of the above, then this book is for you. It is full of delightful water colour portraits, `psychic impressions' if you will, of squashed and squished fairies and diary entries of the young Lady Angelica Cottington. But, don't worry reader! No fairy was harmed in the making of this book. The RSPCF (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Fairies) saw to that. It really is magical and a joy to read. Has to be seen to be believed..... even if you are sceptical, you ~will~ believe in fairies when you've read it.... Trust me!

A wonderful insight to the fairy world

I brought this book because I had seen the movies Dark Crystal and Labryinth,of which Brian Froud was involved in the creature designs of all the puppets ranging from Goblins and small furry creatures and of course, fairies! I thought this book would be a lovely read but it was only until I actually recieved it that I saw how beautifully illustrated it was.The story is extremally well woven and I personally found I could not put it down! It was quirky and facinating to see the fairies all with their own personalities and names and the mischief they get up to. I was extremally pleased with the whole aspect of this book and would fully reccommend any one who loves all things magical and beautiful to get themselves a copy! I know I will be adding more of Brian Froud's books to my collection!
