If it doesn't make you laugh, it will make you smile
|
There is a certain monotony in reading and telling jokes. You laugh once, you laugh twice, and then you know you are going to laugh and somewhow stop laughing. So this means 'jokebooks' are best not read at a single sitting. They are best picked up for a moment when you have the time to give a moment and are looking for a bit of distraction. I sampled the jokes of this book and I found myself, if not laughing, then smiling appreciatively at each one of them. The ones I read were not stupid, crude cruel jokes but rather mild self- deriding Jewish jokes. I intend to read a lot more of them. I think that anyone who wants a bit more amusement and laughter in their lives would do well to purchase this volume.

A Wonderful and Original Contribution

I picked up this book and opened it at random and burst out laughing after reading the first story. Then I read page after page of some of the most amusing and original jokes I've come across in a long time. Some are chuckles, some are groans and some make you laugh so hard your belly aches. You will not be disappointed with this collection.
