Much fun to read..Can anyone be as pompous as Mr Winner.. I dont think so.. But the humour in this book is pure joy.. I can almost I am sitting in the restaurant with him.. Please please lets have some more reviews to enjoy.. 2 complaints though if I may 1). Please put page numbers in the index 2). The date of the review Go out and buy this book... You will not regret it in the slightest

This book brings together the restaurant and hotel reviews which Michael Winner writes in his own inimitable style, each week in The Sunday Times. It provides a witty, informative and interesting insight into many restaurants and hotels in the UK and elsewhere. It could almost be a work of reference, except for it's subjectivity!! My only criticism is that some entries appear with a shaded background which make them particularly difficult to read, especially when drifting off to sleep. Highly recommended, like a tonic after a stressful day.
