ANOTHER CLASSIC FROM LILIAN HARRY

Second in the April Grove series.
I started reading this straight after finishing the first, seriously hooked and wanting to know what happened to the Budd family and their relatives and neighbours as the bombs started falling.

Set in WWII in Portsmouth it's a fantastic account of how a close knit community, the men, women and children all coped with War.

Written brilliantly - it'll have you hooked from the start and wanting to read the 3rd in the series as soon as you've finished it!
