A fantastic story everyone should read

'Les Miserables' - Definitely a literary classic. Thought provoking, intellectually satisfying, and above all a good read. The intricate and gripping plot will never cease to amaze you, and when you are finished , it will really change your outlook on life. The vivid scenes and characters - Valjean, Cosette, Fontaine, etc will endlessly entertain you as you meander around their lives, at times melancholy, at times joyous, but always hugely exciting. The story also provides a great insight into life in 18th Century France, and the interaction between the social classes of the time. Most surely an all time literary masterpiece - full marks to Victor Hugo for this inspiring read!
