My then-ten month old daughter literally ate up this book the first time. She loved the bright colors and the surprise of the pop ups. Since she was teething heavily at the time, I attributed the books disintegration to her enthusiastic munching. I ordered another copy for her a couple of months later, when she was similarly enthusiastic but didn't chew on it. I was really disappointed when the book fell apart not long after ... despite more careful handling. Unless you handy with some baby-friendly glue, you might give this otherwise wonderful book a miss.
