Enjoyable book

Nice and easy to read summary of the Churchill Tank.
Doesn't go deep though. Just fact packed.
Good buy all the same.

The history of the Churchill seems to fit the Osprey format beautifully. The book is extremely informative, uses numbers of otherwise rare/unusual photographs and is a good read as well. All marks are covered (perhaps a little more could have been said about the Black Prince, but then again it wasn't really a Churchill so...) including the AVRE and Crocodile, and there is a fascinating service and tactical history of the marks - interesting to think that an old Mark II took part in the Gothic Line attacks! Finally the story of the NA75 serves as an object lesson in the military's approach to innovation. Well recommended.
