To say that there was a lot of legislation around SEN appearing over the last ten years would be something of an understatement. This book provides an excellent overview and helps to join the bewildering number of strands in doing so. It also gives valuable starting points to help teachers organise their classrooms to support a range of pupils. I particularly liked the guidance for colleagues to work most effectively with Teaching Assistants for the benefit of the children. This is definitely a book for all teachers and is presented in a format that is accesible to busy colleagues at all key stages. This makes it a truly 'inclusive' volume and not just for the benefit of newcomers to the profession.
