This is one of the best books I have read. It captured me within the first chapter. I can only imagine what it must have been like for Helle (being a mum myself) the pain and sense of loss must have been overwhelming. Her strength and determination were outstanding.
I recommend this book to everyone...... it is an absolute must read....

This was an excellent read, and I couldn't put it down once I'd finished the first chapter - it was written with passion and you had a real sense of despair for Helle and her predicament. I especially liked the boys contribution in the book, which added another dimension. I'd thoroughly recommend this read, the ups and downs of her struggle to get the boys back. This is ideal for the summer holiday - a must!!!

Helle Amim is one of the bravest women I have ever heard about.Her fight just see her boys let alone have custody of them is inspiring.She accurately describes how the men in court thought she was right but the system in Saudi Arabia didn't want to know.Her struggle to cope with life inside an Islamic state where the abaya and the veil are compulsory,the worth of a woman is very low and woman are dicriminated against on a daily basis. I first heard about her when I saw her on 'This Morning' with Fern Britton and Philip Schofield.But also Helle was extremely lucky as many mothers around the world who have their children stolen by their husbands never get to see them again.
THREE CHEERS FOR HELLE AMIM!

Gripping tale of a mothers fight against all odds to regain custody of her abducted children.Intriguing story told in a manner that keeps the reader gripped and astounded by this incredible journey into a world of which we know very little. Helles determination , courage and conviction shine through in each chapter and is an inspiration to us all. A great read , highly recommended

An excellent read - real page turner. I was particularly impressed by the "immediate" writing style - and gripped by the narrative. The children's accounts were particularly poignant. A real credit to the authors !
