Heartbreaking

I could have cried when I read this book thinking of how Sue spent her childhood with two abusive parents. It beggars belief that now as a grown woman who brought her abusers to justice, her siblings don't even speak to her. I couldnt put this book down once I started it!

what an unfortunate little girl...

I read this book in one day...I couldn't put it down. Poor Sue's childhood was doomed the minute her real mum passed her over to her father and stepmother.
She is so brave and fought for justice, not only for herself and chilrdren but for the safety of others.
I was crying nearly all the way through this book, it is heartrending.
This book is a must for those who read memoirs and biographies.
