When I first scanned this comic book in my local bookstore I have several doubts, the black and white printing and the apparently lack of unity make me doubt about the worthy of this book. But after reading it was clear that my initial perception was totally wrong. The short length of each story and the use of only black and white printing don't affect the mastery of the collection, definitely, one of the best comics that I had read. The incredible quality of the individual stories is the only common thing between them. Using different versions of the Dark Knight in storylines ranging from comedy to drama with an intense graphic work. My favorite stories in the book are: Templeton/Severin "Bats, Man", Claremont/Rude& Buckingham "A Matter of Trust", Levitz/Rivoche "Hide and Seek", Brennert/Garcia-Lopez "Guardian", Dini/Del Carmen "The Bet" and Grant/Breccia "The Bat No More?"
