Geoff Nyarota is what I would term the doyen of Zimbabwean Journalism,a brilliant, perceptive, investigative Journalist, he certainly occupies a place in the hall of fame and annals of Zimbabwe's Media history.Obviously, my eulogising Nyarota is not shared by the Zimbabwean authorities, especially when they go through Nyarota's latest offering: Against The Grain - Memoirs of a Zimbabwean Newsman.I found the text intensely poignant and absorbing.An epic piece of work,I was dazzled and mesmerised right from the onset upto the last page. A must-read for anyone who loves Zimbabwe. Cry the beloved country!
