Simple explainations and guidelines to complex scientific theory

I bought this book because of the title and hoping to get a little more insight into low-carbing.
This book is the MOST clear, concise, easy to follow I have read, and I have read a few I can tell you (Atkins, food combining, Carb addicts etc etc).
It tells you exactly why when you combine one food type with another I will put weight on, and how to chose the foods that will help me lose weight and keep it off. It also gives you a clear idea of how to maintain long term, and one particularly great tip on how to deal with sugar cravings should you overindulge - worth buying just for that!
This book goes further than normal low carbing, it basically says not to combine fats & proteins with carbs (reminds me of food combining) but explains clearly why it's such a bad idea.
I feel that I have finally bought a book which is going to help me for the rest of my life.
I would also recommend you buy The GI counter by Dr Mabel Blades as this is the best book on GI values I have found (forget the red, amber, green, that is just not enough detail!)
I have been on it just a few days and lost 2lbs already!
