I can not speak highly enough of this book. It has stretched my faith and taken me on a journey in many unexpected ways. I think it is just the right combination of technical explanations and spirit filled writings. In it he brings the language of Jesus back to us, with the everyday words, and a rendition of the Lords prayer in aramaic. The disciples and other characters in Jesus's life are vividly brought back to life. In the end this is a book [as one of the end chapters says] of good news for modern man [Sabratha in aramaic]. God was to choose this earthy and spiritual language as the one for Jesus, and if you read this you may see why.
