Set in the winter of 1941, during the war between Russia and nazi Germany, this is a worthy perquel to the original 30 days of night. It tells the story of a group of Russian, German and British soldiers forced to put their differences aside to combat a gang of viscious vampires. Ben Templesmith's messy yet effective artwork suits this story perfectly and he manages to re-capture a lot of the horror and atmosphere of the original 30 Days of night. It's dark, violent, action packed and well worth the asking price.
