A+ 2006 Resource Kit - a good buy

Having read some of Jean Andrew's other books, I knew this would be good and it was. For the money you get a lot of stuff, A huge book with many appendixes that cover things like Mac and Linux OSs, IRQ addressing and the prinicples of electricity. The whole book is easy to read with about 15 questions at the end of each chapter. Answers are at the back of book. In the book you get a CD that shows you video clips of doing things such as installing a video or network card, good if you're a beginner. As you progress through the book the chapters seem to get harder but thats only because they are more things to know. All throughout the book are A+ ponters that highlight if certain parts will be in the exam. They even tell you that you can skip a couple of Win98 chapters as its not in the exam. The second CD contains your CertBlaster tests for the 220-601,602,603 and 604 exams, which are relevent and get you used to the feel of taking the final exam which is in an almost identical environment. After reading the book the flash cards also came in handy for testing my knowledge while on the train, even made a few new ones to cover subjects I wasn't too sure about. This is an excellent buy, I should know I passed both exams and have now loaned the book to my friend who usually plays computer games and hasn't studied for at least 5yrs. Needless to say he is enjoying the book and seems to be flying through it.
