Upon reading the reviews about this book on Amazon I thought wow this books sounds like a good read. Sadley I was disappointed. The plot is poor and goes all over the place. a very slow and hard to engage read.

You just can't go wrong with a K G MacGregor book. Tight plot and interweaving sub-plots, real people living far-from fairy-tale existences, angst, romance and sex that has the ring of reality about it. And if like me, you have never really gotten over that first incredible but impossible teenage love, you'll empathise with one of the main motivational forces in this book. An intelligent, vivid and engaging piece of writing.

Is it a Return or a One Way Ticket?

KG MacGregor appears as one of the most outstanding writers of the lesbian romance genre at the moment. The best proof is her newest novel called "Out of Love" where you meet two women that come from two different professional status, Carmen Delallo is a succesful owner of a consulting firm and Judith O'Shea is a travel agent who is struggling with her job. It happens that they're both single, beautiful and are attracted to each other. It also happens that Carmen lives in Chicago and Judith in New York and there is a small secret that one of them cannot hide for ever.
KG describes her characters so realistic that you find yourself living Carmen and Judith's lives as your own. It's not a matter of falling in love only and `what a good time we had' but something that has to do with feelings and learning to take the right path because it is worth being with someone that makes your world fullfilled.
"Out Of Love" is also funny, the dialogues are brilliant and the end is superb.
Do you know what is the worst thing it can happen when you are reading a KG MacGregor's book? That it ends.
