Impressive achievements but not the most engaging read

Pam Reed has clearly achieved a lot in running terms. As a fellow ultra runner her consistency and speed is very impressive, as is her ability to run 100 mile races in succession. She paints a fairly complete picture of her life, motivations and racing here but doesn't write in a particularly emotionally engaging way. Interesting book but doesn't quite grab you as much as it could given the subject matter.
