Every traveler seems to have there own plans and secerts which come out during the story. Keeping track of the characters can be hard as there are so many and you may find yourself like me flicking back and forth but by the middle you gain a grip of the main cast.

The book is filled with many differnt elements from fighting werewolves to escapeing to plotting and seduction spanning 4 years (remember it was slower to travel espcailly by land and with winters blocking roads) there is something to find in this book for all readers and for those who are intrested in the followers of set (setites) it shows some of there power and there skill with manpulation and a insight into there religon
