The hard details: This is a 216 page hardback supplement to the World of Darkness line, intended to give an overview of equipment and weapons that a character can use. It is split into six major sections. Melee weaponry, firearms and other ranged weaponry, Tactical and heavy weaponry (from smaller portable rockets and grenades all the way up to NBC), Vehicles, Accessories and Equipment (eg gun accessories, surveillance gear, survival equipment and more), and finally a chapter on how weaponry might fit into the world, which also contains information on various countries weapon laws, and making up such things for your campaign. There is an appendix with a handful of new merits (most of which are weapon based fighting styles).
This is definitely the crunchiest and most rules-heavy supplement that exists for the World of Darkness line, but it still contains much useful information. White Wolf have really tried to put the information in context. There are lots of story hooks suggested that can be placed in a chronicle. This book is very helpful to STs, and really does try to be more than just an equipment list. It is useful in both mortal and supernatural chronicles, and should be at least considered by every ST running a World of Darkness game.
This book contains a great deal of useful information, and is recommended to any ST running a campaign that involves much combat.
