enjoyable,not just for completeists matheson

Passion Play is an exciting unpublished early work from the fifties. As a novel about a man framed by a female vamp for her husbands murder it has the suspense and tension we have come to love from Matheson. Although not on par with his greatest works such as I am legend, it is an entertaining read and much more preferable than such recent works as 7 steps to midnight. It appears currently limited to a 1000 signed hardback copy but really deserves a wider audiance,it would be great if someone republished his now hard to find thrillers fury on Sunday and someone is bleeding for comparision. At only 192pages long its a quick read but thats true of most matheson as it rides shotgun with its energy. overall an enjoyable romp not just for matheson die-hards.
