YOU MUST READ IT

Buyers Beware

While Dr. Jampolsky means well with this book, to truly transform and free ones mind from the shortcomings and internal struggles is to ask why it should be done in the first place. When the problem is apparent and the will to search for real solutions is established, the ultimate question is how to come to terms with ones mortality. Whatever the religious background maybe, I strongly recommend familiarizing yourself with Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and practices. Recognizing the true nature of ones mind and the true nature of ones emotions has a potential to truly make you and everybody around genuinely happy. Discovering spirituality and ones true place on this plan is never an easy task, the follow book will be of much help:

1. "Meditation in Action" by Chogyam Trungpa

2. "Words of My Perfect Teacher" (Sacred Literature Series)

3. "The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying" by Sogyal Rinpoche, to name a few (first look for them at your local library)

The reason I recommend the philosophy of Tibetan Buddhism is because it cut through the superficial right to the real matter at hand. Learning from the source will yield greatest benefits. Final caveat, until you find the authentic teacher/mentor be cautious of people that offer instant results or try to reel you in.

Peace of Mind.

In our Internet/computer connected, super-speed world, we sometimes need to sit back an experience love, peace of mind. I recommend this book, as well as, "Life and Death on the Internet" by Keith A. Schroeder. They are a plus to any library.

Transformational and healing

Jampolsky's writings have the same autobiographical and meaningful transformational style and power as Thom Hartmann's "The Prophet's Way" or Marianne Williamson's "A Return To Love." Highly recommended for anybody on the spiritual path and concerned with relationships.

This book changed my outlook on life more than any I've read

Reading this book was like holding a mirror to my life. Learning to look at and recognize my fear changed my entire outlook. I recommend it to everyone.
