This book is near enough essential to ease your passage through the CCNA course. Since I purchased this book many other people on my course have followed suit. It is very useful in practical classes for looking up commands and also preparing for the end of section practical. Trust me when I say it us much easier to make notes or quickly reference this book with it laid out against the CCNA course with all commands, arguments and example configuration for the section than hunting out the commands in the actual CCNA companion books. This is a fantastic companion to the companion guides!

Excellent for CCNA simulation questions

I have been using the CCNA Command Quick Reference to practice for the simulation ques and i can assure you, it so easy to understand i also find the tips on subnetting and VLSM very useful too. It is a great book to have.
