Special Forces interest - look no further!
|
This is a very good book. It is very well written. It includes everything - from Q course to visions of the future of the Green berets; all modern conflicts, many personal accounts, personal moments of glory and (unfortunately a part of it) tragedies.
I am usually reluctant towards "second hand" (those written by people who were not there) books, as the stories tend to be press articles like and lack the personal touch and/or real emotions. This is not the case here. The book is wonderfully written and impossible to put down until you reach the last page.
It will be interesting not only to the military or special forces freaks, as it also depicts the political, tribal and social aspects the SFs have to deal with. And using brute force is the last resort.
A definite recommendation!
