I am confused with this one to be honest. I so much wanted to like it and get the experiences that others have mentioned.
But, it was too quick, just as I was getting into one part, it sped off to another, no time to really relax!
I also wasn't suitably relaxed to begin with, there was simply no time.
One big rush!!
I shall try again, a few more times, but for now... not sure about this one.

Amazing meditations

I bought "The Celestine Meditations" because I love books by James Redfield. I was hoping this Audio CD would live up to my expectations.
For those who don't know: Salle Merrill-Redfield, is James Redfield's wife, and he is the author of "The Celestine Prophecy" and other inspiring books. I found this CD to be a relaxing experience and a perfect introduction to the beauty of meditation.
"The Celestine Meditations" expand upon two insights found in "The Celestine Prophecy." I think it will benefit both a beginner to meditation and even the more advanced practitioner.
The first meditation takes you on a journey through a forest and ultimately to a connection with your higher self. This meditation is based on the fifth insight, which shows that we must learn to gain energy through our connection with a universal source, not try to gain it from other people. Our source of energy is within and not outside us.
The second meditation takes place by a beach and it's based on the eight insight, which reveals that through uplifting others around us we can increase the frequency of coincidences in our lives. We need to be careful to still maintain our inner connection to universal source of energy and avoid losing it through romantic involvement. This meditation concentrates on personal and universal healing and it's a beautiful experience.
I would recommend that you buy this CD with "The Celestine Prophecy" and I also recommend "NEXUS: A Neo Novel," which also offers psychological and spiritual insights woven within a unique story of personal transformation. Anyone who has read James Redfield will easily understand and appreciate the message of "Nexus."

The Celestine Meditations

I found Salle-Merrill Redfield's voice to be quite annoying, but she does know her stuff! The first part 'the forest' was too short for me, & I found that she didn't give me enough time to explore my surroundings. The second part 'the beach' was much more interesting & actually very helpful. Reminding me of people long forgot, I have been able to forgive their misgivings, my childhood was not pleasent. This CD is worth the money more so if you are a beginner, either way you should get something good out of it. I did.

what can i say this is just brilliant , i had read the books and i was bowled over,i have just started to meditate in april and after having a terrible year decided to try it out , what i must say is wow it will take you to a deeper level and understanding and made me cry, relaxed and made me sleep, i have suffered with sleep problems for 3 months.

i cant tell you enough to buy this CD, it is amazing, i have been meditating for a couple of years and this is the deepest i have ever got into myself, its wonderful, i cried when i "met" people i hadn't seen for years....buy it...buy it....buy it
