Not for the novice

|
Inspiring photos but lacking in basic information. For those of us who don't have a special table on which to cut the fabric and intend to crawl about on the floor instead, it's not terribly useful. The curtains are more dramatic than the simple material plus lining type that I have made, and I ended up having to work out a lot of the steps myself.

Good instructions but old fashioned
|
The instructions are clear and pictures good, but I found the curtains old fashioned.
Lots of frilly or grand curtains but only one which was particularly practical.
If you have a more traditional taste in window dressing or a big grand house this is the book for you!

Good traditional ideas and advice.

Bought for a GCSE class. The projects are tried and tested, so I am confident they will be useful. Images and designs are a tad 'traditional/comfortable', but there are plenty of additional details to liven things up. Step by steps are clear.
