Excellent History and Biography

This book is a must for any student of C20th History, it is both a biography and a very good backdrop to the interwar period. The cartoon version of history taught about Chamberlain and Churchill is far from reality as it fails to include Stanley Baldwin or Lloyd George, the two manipulators of the early Twentieth Century.
Anyone who wants a revelation about how political life was really developing between the wars and how things came to be should read the dynamics of what went on rather then live with the sepia-toned portrait that postwar generations manufactured
