Puerile pseudo psychology for the desperate and the gullible
|
I bought this book for a friend of mine who is going through a difficult time in his life. Thankfully I read it myself before passing it to him, thus saving myself the embarrassment of wasting his time.
This book spews forth the same gag-inducing flavour of quasi-esoteric, wishy washy garbage usually found dribbling from the mouths of vexatious motivational speakers. While likely to appeal to the type of gullible cretin who believes some new motivational lifestyle that they bought in a booklet for £500 is going to make them a millionaire in the next two years, the sort of tripe offered up by this book isn't going to fool anyone with any iota of rational intelligence.
Frankly, telling people that all their problems and circumstances are the produce of their own attitudes is as dangerous as it is foolish and nauseating. I'd love to see the author go to Africa and tell all the people starving amid the ravages of civil war there that their hunger and disease are merely the fruit of their own "bad" thoughts and "disharmony" with their souls.
Don't waste your time with books like this.

This is the most wonderful little book you could ever possess!!! It is right up there with Wallace Wattles' "The Science of Getting Rich". It is a deserved classic and after only two days back at work having read it I am putting it into practice and seeing very positive results. Here's a taste: "man has but to put right himself to find that the universe is right; and during the process of putting himself right, he will find that as he alters his thoughts towards things, and other people, things and other people will alter toward him". Law of Attraction written olde worlde style basically, it takes a few readings to understand it but he has lots of little pearls of wisdom to offer and it is deceptively complex given the length of the book. You'll read it in an hour or two!! A wonderful gem!
