Seems rather US-centric     
I've not read this book, only browsed it in a bookshop while trying to decide what to spend my Christmas tokens on, but I was surprised to see that so many of the destinations seemed to be in the US - more than half in fact. Now I know that there are some very good birding destinations in the US but it does seems to me that the rest of the world is being somewhat short-changed by this book.
