At last a book on cbt for psychosis with real world outcomes

Many of the existing texts on cbt for psychosis have followed the traditional mould set by the trials of drugs. As the authors say, they reject the 'quasi-neuroleptic' approach and focus on behaviour linked to commanding auditory hallucinations as the main outcome. What I like about this book is that it doesnt droan on about theory but the guts of this book is centred around a detailed exposition of 8 very difficult cases that will be familiar to many people working with this group of people.Nor does it pretend that it can eliminate the psychosis symptoms, but does focus on the distressing dimensions of beliefs about voices that the authors claim hold the key.
