When I purchased this book I wasn't sure quite what to expect. I knew that it was American in content and often such books don’t travel well to the UK. This book is however different. Sure some of the legal elements may be specific to the US but the rest of the book more than makes up for this. The author has created a generic process for shooting stock and more importantly maximizing your chance of a sale. The process applies no matter what your location and is described in great depth and from all angles. It’s clear the author knows his stuff and is keen to share this with the reader. What you won’t find in this book is lots of images that suggest how to shoot a particular subject; it’s assumed that you know how to do that already. What you will find is a considered approach to identifying gaps in the market and determining profitable strategies for filling these. This is a without doubt an excellent business book aimed squarely at the serious photographer who wants to earn money.
