Toys for boys

Okay, so I'm biased, I love making plush monsters or amigurumis so this book was always going to be a hit in my eyes. I've had it a week and made 3 monsters already, each only taking a night in front of the tele. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that you have to photocopy and enlarge the patterns before you can get started which is a bit of a pain, but not unusual. The toys are a bit unhinged and would appeal to boys more than some of the other "cuter" plush design books. There are non-toy patterns as well - slippers and monster-head hats which I will be making this winter for my two girls (they're young enough not to care). There is advice on how to adapt patterns for kids under 3, which is mainly about eyes, stitching advice, filling choice and fabric choice.
