i am not a bookworm at all, i rather my music. I love listening to bob marley but only if in the mood and if you are like me the jamaican culture seems quite interesting and ive also wanted to know the facts about bobs life. This book achieves both. direct from cella's mouth it is an eye opening read and moving at times. With the engrossing jamacan accent which makes you feel as if you were in the same room as the narrator. At times it can be a bit confusing with so many names and the complex family the bob belonged to. Also occasionally there is a loss of structure to the story due to parts being repeated but this is all part of the character of the book. you can very much feel the personality of her. Reading this book is like transindental medition especially when you combine it with images you have gained from his song and footage, you probably need them as there is lack of any descrition at all of scenes. if u are into bob you should get this book to learn wot kind of person he is and it can bring a new meaning to his song lyrics. And if you don't like it, it will still look good on your bookshelf.
