This book has reformed my thinking of early years education!! The work going on in Reggio Emelia shows the potential children of such a young age can reach. We limit them in England; limit their imagination, their resources and ultimately their potential. How refreshing to read about a setting which provides excellence and is achieving such outstanding results. The work produced by these children is inspiring to look at and really challenges the quality of what I, as a teacher, am providing for my children. This book is worth every penny. It has renewed my passion for working with young children and has relighted my enthusiasm for teaching. It has given me something to strive to achieve, going beyond the humdrum of literacy and numeracy hours, going back to the roots of imagination and creativity in young children.
