This Game is breathtaking, too often people fall into the trap that this game is about wonder and dreams. The reality is that this game is potentially the darkest within the World of Darkness. Although the game seems geared towards heroic adventure and good overcoming evil. The tragedy of the Changelings is that they are a lost people. A frail spirit trapped in a flesh and blood body. Too much 'Glamour' band they go Mad, too much Mundanity and they forget themselves. Their home realm of the Dreaming is not safe for them and thats even without the powers of nightmares. This is the game where you can experience both wonder and terror and have more horror than Cthullu could muster. This Game sadly requires the most work from the Storyteller to create the story that both they and their players seek. An active imagination is required and Munchkins need not apply. Still a beefed up Troll Wilder with potent treasures, and the Wyrd could take on a few vampires before breakfast. Go on give it a go, there was a reason you tried Roleplay and perhaps recreating a dream was part of it.

Chnageling is a delightful and original game that shows the traditional world of darkness in a whole new light. Enter the world of fantasy and magic, where literally anything can happen. If you appreciate the bleak and dreary world of dakness, I wouldn't recommend this game. If you yearn for escape from that world and desire a light and beautiful yet intriguing enviornment, than Changeling is the game for you. A definite requisite for this game is an imagination of unending possibility. Otherwise, like me, you will find yourself unable to keep up with the myriad of choices that will present themselves.

Changeling: The dreaming. A fantastic game that immerses its players in a mysterious reality where magic runs rampant. This is an exciting game but requires a very extensive imgination. Those of you who find the World of darkness too dreary and depressing, escape to semi-reality of magic and freedom. Those of you who revel in the gothic aspect of the Dark world, avoid this game for not only will you be disappointed in this game, but your opinion on the whole will be degenerated.

I found Changeling: The Dreaming to be one of the most entertaining, sophistocated, and best written source books from White Wolf. Besides the stunning layout and art, the game flows like a fairy tale and plays like a dream.

This is one of the best RPGs I ever played. It's based on the same system as Vampire, Werewolf, Trinity and other white-wolf games. One of the things that make this such a good game is that point of the game is to have fun.
