The best Mage sourcebook avaliable

This is a perfect sourcebook, the right balence of exact rules and general information. If you're a storyteller you need this book, just for the reason that it makes Mage NPCs far easier to use. For players it provides an interesting, alternative, type of magic to use and explore, with no risk of paradox :-) Although sorcerers are even more likley to die than mages, thus making crossovers with werewolf, vampire etc, unwise. The focusing on the mystery of the World of Darkness's super-naturals, and less reliance on magic helps to enforce the 'Film Noir' settings of the WoD. For those of you unable to give up dynamic, individual magic, do not worry, there are detailed rules for creating new magic paths (although it is strongly advised to be avoided). View the WoD from a totally different perspective, so good White Wolf should make it a seperate game.
