Terribly Disappointing After All the Hype

I had seen this book recommended by many other gluten free folks as their top pick for baking. So how disappointed was I when I opened it and found that it was just more of the same? A book that substitutes a highly refined and unhealthy gluten free flour mix, for wheat flour.

There is nothing creative or inspirational about this book unless you really just want to recreate what you miss and don't mind the grainy texture or dull taste of these flours. They aren't good for you, so don't mistake this for healthy food.

I didn't even bother making many of the recipes as the images were highly uninspiring - the cakes look flat and dry and everything is that same pale yellowy colour that comes from her flour mix. I'll be selling my copy cheap soon!
