This book was really shocking in it's description of what the GP put the author through for the time they were a couple. It makes one wonder how someone with such clear psychiatric problems and dangerous tendencies can actually be able to work in the United Kingdom as a general practitioner.

Don't read this if you're a sensitive soul! This is an indepth account of how a relationship can turn very sour, and is at times very harrowing. A warning of how controlling but charming abusive men can be. Scary that the guy in this book is apparently still a practicing doctor in the UK. Luckily it does have a good ending - phew! I read it in one day - be prepared to leave the housework/chores/appointments to one side when this book is delivered.
