This is designed as an early reader, but I have been reading it to my 15 month old for a few months now. She loves it and more recently has been engaging with the simple story, expressing emotions show by the different princesses.
The princesses are trapped inside on a rainy day and each expresses a different emotion.
The ending is very unexpected, lovely and unstereotypical.
Highly recommended as a short story reader and an early reader.

Great to read to nursery age children!

I love this book as a quick story time read. The pictures are simple and colourful, the text is brief, funny and rhyming which engages the children. What i love most is the fact is that it challenges the steroype of princesses with an unexpected modern twist at the end.
